Learn about IELTSTutors.org

We are a team of two experienced IELTS teachers. We have a passion for education and believe in its transformative ability to heal differences and help build a strong global society.

For so many, the IELTS test is the gateway to a higher quality of education, though for students who are not fortunate enough to have professional tuition, it can be a struggle to reach the level they need. Through our website we hope to bring important IELTS and academic English lessons to as many students of different backgrounds as possible, so that everyone has a chance to succeed.

To this end, for the last two years Tom and I have been building a collection of over 200 IELTS and academic English lessons, all free to access.

I recently left the school I was working at to spend more time working on the website, and together with Tom we now offer both free and paid courses, as well as 1 to 1 online classes with the support of other teachers from around the world.

The money we earn from the courses and classes will go back into building more lessons and creating a richer database of high quality materials. We hope that you find our lessons useful!

If you have any questions, please send us a message.

Sam Morgan

I’ve been teaching English for nearly a decade, over that time I’ve experienced how rewarding it can be to see my students achieve their IELTS goals.

IELTS opens so many doors around the world and I’m always excited to help candidates reach their potential.

While teaching, I taught myself to code; over the last few years I have built this website, as well as two IELTS Android apps.

Tom Speed

I studied English at university, and have spent the last 12 years teaching General English, Academic English and IELTS Preparation.

I have extensive experience in classroom and online teaching and am deeply sensitive to the needs of individual learners.

Helping people achieve their IELTS goals, thus enabling them to work or study abroad, is extremely rewarding and teaching has given me the opportunity to meet and help lots of wonderful people from all over the world.
